Ready 01:20
All my bags are packed I’m ready to go A car is waiting in front of the door Hold on Take a deep, deep breath Hold your breath Am I ready?
2.
Where should I go now that I found the best place to be Is right here right now right next to you The days felt endless like summer vacation Now they pass by like clouds in front of an airplane window I've got a few homes away from home but the only time it really feels like home is when I'm with you The days felt endless like summer vacation Now they pass by like clouds in front of an airplane window
3.
Down 04:48
I started the conversation on a weary note I'm floating down the river in a leaky boat Going down, down, down, down down, down, down... I’m sorry for the letter I never wrote A message in a bottle that is still afloat Going down, down, down, down down, down, down...
4.
Go Slowly 02:06
Please go slowly We can not rewind Please go slowly Leave it all behind
5.
Let's just lay here and watch the stars don’t worry about anything Let's just lay here and watch the stars pass the time until we Let's just lay here and watch the stars don’t worry about anything Let's just lay here forever Pass the time until we pass away

Memories 03:06
I've been making up My own histories I think I'm gonna stop and stick with what is real Cause it's all been done before and it's all been said way to often but not by me It doesn't take too much to wrap up your memories just a couple of chords some simple melodies And it's all been done before and it's all been said way to often but not by me
8.
I guess my teenage years are over I’ve got my own place now I make my own decisions it all seems to work out somehow I found love I was lost and found I guess my teenage years are over It was a pleasant flight I got used to my face, my voice, my body I feel like I'm getting somewhere I found hope I was lost and found and lost again There are still a lot of things that I don't understand sometimes I still talk before I think I still get too angry about stupid little things But I guess my teenage years are over
9.
10.
I always talk too loud I always have to drown the noises of this city and I'm tired of shouting I always move too fast I always have to catch a train or my breath and I’m tired of running don't waste my time don’t hold me back I think I'm ready now I'm on the right track And the sun comes up way too early and the sun goes down way too late We'll never have as much time as we've got right now

about

This is an "honest" record. Probably the most honest record I have made so far. It felt very natural to make it. I didn't care about getting too cheesy on this one. If I liked something, I kept it. After writing almost exclusively German lyrics for half my life, this is the first full album with English lyrics. It felt good to do something different. Have some new possibilities for rhymes and try a new approach to singing and discovering my deep singing voice. The songs are pretty simple, but every track has its own special ambiance and feel. I could have added a lot more tracks, but I liked the stripped down, bare bones versions of the songs.
